Fall/Winter is surely upon us. Gotta love waking up in the morning and never know what season it is. The last two days have sure been beautiful.

Since school has started, we have been extremely busy with everyone's schedules.

Mason is now 4 1/2 years old and has started preschool. He attends the Joyful Noise Christian Preschool two times a week with 3 other daycare friends. We are so glad that it worked out for our daycare provider to transport the kids otherwise Mason wouldn't have been able to attend. There is no busing available for the kids. The school district does a great job to accommodate working parents - NOT. It all worked out though. Mason is having a blast learning about the alphabet, words associated with each letter, numbers, colors, shapes, seasons, etc., etc. The class took their first field trip to Berry HIll Farm. They were able to take a BIG yellow bus, they went on a hay ride, and each student was able to pick out a pumpkin to take home. Mason couldn't stop talking about it. Thanks Fran for the adorable pictures. And... let the fundraising begin...grrrrr. Already, as preschoolers this begins? So we are selling Butter Braid pastries if anyone is interested, they are very good and make a great breakfast item. The money raised helps to fund the preschool center. Some items to look forward to for Mason our - class pictures, fall party the end of October and parent-teacher conferences mid-November.

Mason also started Sunday School this fall. Lets say, it hasn't been as enjoyable as Preschool that is for sure. (In Mason's mind anyway.) The biggest issue is, he doesn't know any of the kids and his teacher. The last 4 weeks have been a constant struggle where Justin brings him back to his class and like clockwork he begins to tantrum and freakout. Justin would stay with him for a little bit and then try to leave and then Mason would put on the death grip. So today, mean mom takes him back and he freaks out and starts screaming. He make it through singing and then it was time to go to their classes and there is another 4 year old class and I know the teacher. Georgia sweet talks him and then death grips him (because he is still screaming) and she tells me to go. I didn't worry and headed back into church. When we picked him up at the end of the service, there was a huge smile on his face and he couldn't stop talking about the wonderful time that he had and everything he learned about Mary receiving word from the angel that she was going to give birth to baby Jesus. What a relief! Thanks again Georgia!

Then there is little Preston who will be turning 3 on December 26. He is for sure a little Justin in every single way - looks, mannerisms, eating habits, stubbornness, watching tv (Diego), etc., etc. It is cute. He is really enjoying daycare and his daycare friends. On Tuesday and Thursdays, he sometimes gets to ride along with Fran and the preschoolers to do drop off. Preston still loves to get in Mason's business by doing everything he does, destroying what Mason's creates with legos, puzzles, etc, and just being that little devilish child that loves to get into trouble. Ha. I would love to say that Preston is potty-trained but, nope, not yet. It has been a frustrating process. He totally knows that he can do it, but is just not interested and doesn't want to follow-through with it. Little stinker. We are trying to be patient and we know that when he is really ready, he will get it done. Lets just hope that it is by his 3rd birthday or by the time #3 joins us.

Yes, we are expecting #3 if you haven't heard. I am officially 12 weeks and 3 days along and I am due April 29th. We are extremely excited and blessed. This pregnancy has sure thrown me for a loop compared to my last two. Mason and Preston were easy from start to finish, this one, not so much. The first 8 weeks were miserable with constant nausea and extreme tiredness. I am so glad that has passed. I am feeling so much better and it feels good to have more energy back. We will continue to keep you updated on this baby's progress.

Thanks for keeping in touch. I am going to try extremely hard to do a much better job of updating then what I have in the past.

Donna:  It is so great to read about your family and the kids stages. When we don't get to see you that much it really helps us to stay on top of how the kids grow and adjust. Keep typing
Kia and the gang:  Congrats!!!! You are so having a girl. Are you going to find out this time?
