Congratulations to my niece Courtney for earning the Champion Intermediate Showmen on Friday. She also had the Champion Middle Class Barrow and earned a trip to the MN State Fair. That is awesome. Great job. My nephew Cody is still in Cloverbuds so he gets to show his animals for fun. It sounded like he did a great job as well. Those two will be quite the showmen these next few years.
It was also Justin and I''s 5 year Anniversary on Friday. We both worked till about 3 and then one of Justin''s Chiropractic Buddies and his wife were in the area from Jamestown, ND. They met us at our house and then we went to the Timberlodge Steakhouse in Maple Grove for supper. We had a wonderful time.
It sure has been quiet around our house these past few days. We have been without the boyz since Wednesday evening. We have had a softball tournament this weekend and we had it arranged that Grandpa Randy and Grandma Lu would watch the boyz for us. Grandma Lu took Thursday off and decided she and Great-Grandma Thielke were coming down Wednesday night to pick up the boyz and then turn around and head right back home that same evening. It was a little rough on me, I had my ''meltdown'' after they left, but we have been so busy we did not have time to worry about them. The Stevens County Fair has been going on in Morris, MN all weekend long so that has where they have been. Mason got on the phone Thursday night and was telling us all the animals that he had seen. Friday night we called, he preceded to tell us all the fun rides that they went on. They have had a blast to say the least. We didn''t talk to them on Saturday, but they did go back to the fair again with Uncle Scott and Auntie Jo and G and G and it sounded like they were just getting cleaned up and ready for bed at 10:30pm. Wow - late night for the boyz. (I am really going to have to work hard to break these boyz of some habits that they formed from grandpa and grandma''s place :) Ha. After all of that fun, including; driving the lawnmower and playing with all the cats, I am not sure they will want to come back home :( We are so excited to see them and how much they have changed on us in 4 1/2 days. Thanks so much Grandpa and Grandma Thielke for watching our little guys and spoiling them like crazy:) I will attach pictures of the boyz from their 4 days at Grandpa and Grandma''s house as soon I get them.
Thanks and have a great week!
